The burden to restore the glory of the church came to Brother Innocent Henry in 1982 and increased on daily basis until 1984 February when he received the call of God to be an instrument in fulfilling that vision. He spent over two and half years in consecration, fasting, prayers and intensive study of God’s word as God demanded from him as a condition for this great duty. In September 1986 during a NIFES Zonal Conference held at the Alvan Ikeoku College of Education Owerri. Imo State, God greatly poured out His Spirit upon him and commissioned him for the work of restoring the glory of the church. Since then he had labored tirelessly to fulfil this vision. In 1989, he opted to go into full time ministry but God said no.
One may ask, where was he all these years? 1st Kings 17:3 has the answer “Get the hence…….. and hide thyself……….” So in obedience to the Master, he hid himself. However, from his hideout he did greatly the work of the Master Jesus. Now the voice which spoke before came again to him, 1st Kings 18:1 “ …… Go, shew thyself………” over the years a lot of pressure had been mounted upon him to come forth to the public, but because it was the voice of man, he kept quiet. Now that it is clear that the Master has asked him to show himself that is the reason for this writing.
This ministry was reserved for the injury time of this divine football match. We have been on the reserve bench and have over the years watched the game. God has given us the grace to know why men succeed or fail in Ministry. Now God says to us, go and show yourself. In order words, go into the field of play and score goals for the Church. Because we are called at the dying minute of the game, we cannot afford to waste time. Our desire is to do our best under God within the short time available to us. We are
purely no-denominational and a supportive arm of the church in the areas of prayers, teachings/ preaching and deliverance.
MODE OF OPERATIONS
At the moment we are supporting the church in the following ways;
1) Counseling services
2) Preaching/Teaching
3) Monthly Vigils called Mount of Restoration.
4) Monthly end of the month vigils/Teaching sessions for partners in the ministry
5) Deliverance services to individuals, families and communities of various sizes.
6) Intercessory meetings.
Our hearts are open to the Lord at every stage of his dealing with us to do
all He would demand from us in fulfillment of this vision.
Wherefore he saith, when he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gift unto men. And he gave some, apostles and some Prophets; and some evangelist; and some pastors and teachers for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto a measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ: That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; but speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head even Christ. From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love" Ephesians 4:8, 11-16
